While teams participating in League A get 1.5 million euros (about ₹14 crore) each, the amount decreases as one goes down the ladder.
Teams participating in League B get 1 million euros (about ₹9.30 crore), while teams in League C get 750,000 euros (about ₹7 crore). Teams in the lowest League D get 500,000 euros (about ₹4.65 crore) each.
With such mouth-watering incentives on offer, the national teams will look to give their best at the upcoming UEFA Nations League 2024-25. Good performance in the Nations League also helps in preparation for the FIFA World Cup qualification matches, which will start just after the league phase of the UEFA-hosted tournament ends in November.
