Casemiro played for Real Madrid from 2013 to 2022, making 336 appearances and winning three La Liga trophy, one Copa del Rey, and five Champions League trophies. Manchester United signed the Brazilian in the spring of 2022.
He was in excellent form for the Red Devils during the 2022-23 season, scoring seven goals in 51 appearances across all competitions. The 32-year-old struggled to make an impact during the 2023-24 season, making only 32 appearances, and he had been linked with a move out of Old Trafford this summer. There is thought to have been interest in Casemiro from Saudi Arabia, but he stayed at Old Trafford, and midfielder has made sixteen appearances for the English club this season, scoring three goals.

Real Madrid ‘considering making an attempt to re-sign Casemiro’
Casemiro has started the last four Premier League games for Manchester United, and he has an agreement with the 20-time English champions through June 2026, with an option for an additional 12 months.
There are concerns about his suitability for Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, with the new Manchester United manager expected to choose Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo for the central two in that formation. According to Trivela, Real Madrid officials are right now talking about Casemiro, with Los Blancos open to the possibility of bringing him back to the Bernabeu due to injury concerns. Aurelien Tchouameni is nearing the end of his ankle recovery, but he will most likely be required in central defence for the rest of the campaign due to Eder Militao’s year-ending knee injury.
