AC Milan has announced that they have redeemed Alex Jimenez from Real Madrid following his season-long loan with the Rossoneri. The 19-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Serie A club, with an option for an extra year.
Jimenez impressed while playing in Real Madrid’s junior side last season, making appearances for the first team. He has made 19 appearances and helped the team reach the Youth League final.
“AC Milan is delighted to announce it has exercised the option to sign Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez from Real Madrid on a permanent deal. Born in Madrid on 8 May 2005 and coming up through the Los Blancos youth sector, Jiménez arrived at AC Milan last season and picked up 19 appearances for the Primavera, contributing to the campaign that saw them participate in the Youth League final. The Spanish player made his senior debut on 2 January 2024 in a Coppa Italia clash against Cagliari, totalling 5 appearances.
“Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez has signed a contract with AC Milan until 30 June 2028 with the option to extend his stay until 30 June 2029,” the club’s official statement read.

AC Milan and Real Madrid have agreed upon the contract of Alejandro Jiménez Sánchez last summer, 2023. According to a report by Calciomercato.com, the Spanish giants have received over 5 million euros.
Jimenez’s deal with Milan is valid until June 30, 2028. The Spanish full-back is expected to play a crucial role in Milan’s upcoming Under-23 team debut in Serie C next season. The Under-23 team will be overseen by Daniele Bonera and guided by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
