Brazilian icon Ronaldinho has strongly criticized Brazil’s performance before the start of the tournament. He stated unequivocally that the current Brazilian team is the poorest he has ever witnessed. Notably, his criticism strengthened following the match against Costa Rica. He lamented the current team’s lack of passion for the jersey, determination, and skillful football.
“A disgrace. I will not watch any Copa America match, nor will I celebrate any victory,” he had said at the start of the tournament.
