Sancho has not played for United since August, after publicly criticizing his Dutch counterpart in a social media post. He spent the latter half of last season on loan at his former club, Borussia Dortmund, where he reached the Champions League final.
However, following an appointment with Ten Hag this week, Sancho went back to training alongside the first team. He won’t go to Norway for the preseason friendly against Rosenborg on Monday, but he will be available for selection going forward. United will play Rangers at Murrayfield on July 20 before embarking on a three-match tour of the United States on July 24. Sancho was kicked out of the squad after claiming Ten Hag lied about his justifications for dropping him for a 3-1 loss to Arsenal in September.

Sancho has not played since a falling out with Erik ten Hag
Ten Hag has repeatedly stated that the 24-year-old will not be allowed to come back until he apologizes. United has refused to say whether or not Sancho apologized during the conversation with Ten Hag. The club has been open to offers for Sancho this summer, with Juventus among those interested, but the price tag of £40 million ($51.9 million) has proved problematic.
According to a statement posted on the club’s website on Friday, “Jadon Sancho returned for testing on Wednesday following his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund during the second half of last season.” “On Thursday, the 24-year-old forward trained with the group.” Earlier on Friday, United confirmed that 36-year-old defender Jonny Evans had signed a new a year contract extension to stay with the club through the 2024-25 season. The United academy graduate rejoined to the club last year after spending eight seasons with West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City. He played 30 games in all competitions, notably the FA Cup final defeat over Manchester City.
