Joshua Kimmich is reportedly 'considering' Arsenal move amid Xavi Simons' hint

Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is reportedly considering a deal with Arsenal. As per reports in Germany, his potential departure comes amid indications from Xavi Simons.

Notably, Arsenal haven’t secured a signing despite the summer transfer window being open for more than a week. If the Gunners can acquire Kimmich, they could face competition from Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Barcelona. Additionally, the 29-year-old German International has just one year remaining on his contract with Bundesliga giants.

Arsenal are currently looking to bolster their squad with new signings after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title. They continue to be linked with potential recruits. Goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is the latest player who left the Gunners to move to League One side Wrexham.

Xavi Simons to decide on transfer after EURO 2024

Xavi Simons has recently said that he was happy at the Paris Saint-Germain but remains open to a transfer amid speculation about a possible departure. Notably, the 21-year-old shone on loan with RB Leipzig last season. He stated that he would address his decision to move only after the ongoing European Championship.

“My future? I don’t know yet. I’m here, happy, with my national team. We’ll see after the Euros what happens. Do I want to return to Paris? I was happy in Paris, things happened. I was at Leipzig this season. After the Euros, we’ll see. I also see that the fans always wish me the best, and that’s good,” Simons said.
