Slovenia forward Benjamin Sesko suffered a serious injury ahead of their crucial clash against England in their Euro 2024 clash on Tuesday, June 25. He has featured in both of Slovenia’s matches despite struggling with a quad injury since the season’s end.

The 21-year-old was substituted in the last stages of their draw against Serbia on Thursday. Notably, this sparked concerns about his availability for the crucial final group-stage match.

According to The Athletic, he showed improvement in his condition in an assessment on Friday, June 21. Matjaz Kek’s men currently occupy the third spot in Group C, trailing behind England and Denmark, with two draws thus far.
